A Moment of Weakness

I totally just joined the Brooklyn Handspun Holiday Sock Club. My first sock club! I am way excited. I haven't actually used her yarn before, although I did own some for a fleeting couple of weeks before I made myself send it on to my Lime and Violet Secret Pal.

I am so looking forward to my first shipment!

Don't forget--submit to Yarnival! This means you, Eric, and Marianne, and Amy! I want to see some Tulsans represent. Come on, Tara, share your half-assedness with the world.

Make sure you bring that sock yarn to knit night when you get it. It looks incredible in that picture.

I will have to think about it, I am sure I have something I could submit to Yarnival. I have had tons of knitting mishaps but they weren't very funny, at least they didn't seem very funny at the time.

Congrats on joining your first sock yarn club - and I'm sure you're going to love brooklyn handspun's - I was severely tempted, but have so much sock yarn now, must.resist.

Be careful with the sock yarn club--once you join one you will want to join them all.

I couldn't begin to think what I've written that would be worthy of submitting to Yarnival

We missed you Sunday--did you miss the Harlot or did I just not see you?

I joined my first "club" as a birthday gift to myself last spring and am somewhat addicted now to the arrival of packages at random intervals. A sock yarn club sounds like a lot of fun!!!

Any club that involves receiving yarn sounds like a good idea to me. Have fun!

Hi from your Monkey Sock pal! I've had some gauge problems but have restarted your socks they're going to be fabulous!

Just a heads up - I'm traveling out of the country at the end of October and will probably need that airplane time to finish your socks. They will be mailed out when I return on Oct. 30th, so they probably won't get to you until 2-3 days later. Sorry if they don't arrive on Nov. 1st! I hope the wait will be worth it. :)

Yeah, I signed up for that sock club too in a moment of weakness! I have never tried her yarn and have always wanted too! I can't wait to see what we get!
