Miters!

Thanks for all your kind words on my Scarf Exchange scarf. It's always nice to get positive feedback on projects in progress.

I realized I haven't made any mention of the miter square blanket since I started it. I've only made 8 of them--still a looong way to go!--but the colors are so pretty, and the process is so fun.

Hanging in the breeze.

And still lots of colors to choose from!

Lastly, I updated my blog's design a little, which I'm sure you noticed. I really have no idea what I am doing when it comes to this stuff, but overall I'm pleased with how it looks now. It's cool to be using a photo in the banner that I actually took myself--I feel so professional!

Love the new picture on your title banner---great colors. That scarf is my new object to drool over every time you post pics! You so inspired me I even went out and got the pattern---definitely on my to-do list when I can find the right yarn! :)

Your banner looks fantastic! Wish you could do mine - I have no clue where to start. But it's one of my goals for the year - add a banner.

Lovin' all your pretty new yarns, and of course, the new look! And also, can I sign up for a scarf exchange with you as my partner? :) Nice pattern and yarn!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, Emma. I have been admired your secret pal scarf, but sadly I'm pretty sure it's not for me! I love the banner and the blog is a pleasure to lay eyes on! You've inspired to think about a mitered baby blanket...

The banner looks great! I've been wanting to do one for a while too. I think I'll get my techy-geek support (DH) on it this weekend.

The squares look fun too. I have a square windows blanket, um, started (five squares out of 20 done last year).

Love the new banner. I am crazy about that pink and brown yarn. So much so that I am going to try to hand-paint my own version of it. Wish me luck.

I love the banner! I just created one for my blog. It made me realize how unsavvy I am at this stuff. But you did a fab job.

Hi there. Thx for stopping by my blog! Don't fear the bobble. They really aren't difficult and there are many ways to knit them. The hardest part for me was unserstanding the written directions...

Your blog is fun and your mitered squares look great! That blanket is on my forever extending to-knit list.
