Faux--matomus

Here are Sara's new socks. No, they aren't Pomatomus, but the pattern is somewhat similar. It's Child's First Sock from Nancy Bush's Knitting Vintage Socks.

This was a geat little pattern, and one I want to make again in a more solid color. Still, I think they turned out beautifully.

The yarn again--because I know someone is going to ask--is Lisa Souza Sock! Merino in Mombassa.

Those are soooo pretty!

Those came out really well. I've had trouble with Pomatomus as well and this seems like a good alternative.

Beautiful socks. Sometimes things just work out a lot better the second time around.

They look really good. This is the first time I've seen them knit up, and I really like 'em. Pomotomus really does look like a pain in the butt.

They look wonderful!

Ooh, I made that pattern too! I think it's cuter than pomatomus, personally!

Lovely! I've spotted that pattern before, you may have convinced me to give it a go :) Although I have three pairs of socks on the go at the moment!
