We've Got Gauge!
The yarn for Leo arrived on Wednesday, as did my Knit Picks Options set. Very exciting.
So my swatches are made, and as soon as I finish this post, I'll be casting on. And then working 17.5 inches of 5x3 ribbing...

Ooh, I think the Cashsoft was a great choice. Of course, I might be prejudiced since I'm knitting with it right now, but it's so soft! Happy ribbing!
I think you'll love those Options needles. I know I love mine.
I got to see that yarn and the swatches today, soft soft soft, it's a miracle she got out of the house with it...seriously.
Oh, that is going to be a gorgeous sweater. Can't wait to see the finish product.
Don't you LOVE the options needles?!? Happy knitting!
Ooo, beautiful yarn. I love that sweater pattern! Enjoy your new Options needles!
Beautiful yarn - the sweater will look gorgeous!
Great choice! Looks wonderful....I love my options set, too. Very handy to have the whole set.
Happy knitting!
Congrats on getting the yarn and needles on the same day, and for getting gauge. Enjoy the ribbing, that's going to be great knitting with that lovely yarn :)
Cool! 5x3 is going to be painful, but at least mindless! I have been wondering about those Options needles for a while now. Do post about how you find knitting with them.
That yarn is going to be so perfect! I can't wait to see it progress & I think you'll love the Options needles. Just don't forget to tighten them with the pin.
Hey, look over there, a 20 foot alpaca!

Mwahaha, now they are mine!
Thanks for checking out my heel, heh. Be sure and put up some pictures when you start the child's first sock. I personally love that pattern.
