FO

I now present a finished object--the Flame Wave Socks:

From Favorite Socks
Yarn: Cascade Fixation
Needles: size 4 and 5 dpns

These socks are nice and cozy, and oh-so-stretchy. It's definitely strange knitting up socks on such large needles, but they worked up quickly.

I need to finish up my second Sockapalooza pal sock. The deadline is only three weeks away!

It's been a bit of a whirlwind around here lately. My husband is off on vacation, and I am starting a new job this week! Wish me luck.

Nice socks, too. I'm another one who hasn't used Fixation before. Might have to try it.

good luck! and bytheway, what kind of dbl pt needles do you prefer? i thought wood or bamboo was better, but sometimes the smaller ones splinter, does that happen to you?
