Suggestions Needed

I got this amazingly gorgeous Fleece Artist Sock Yarn from The Loopy Ewe, and I need YOUR help to find a pattern for it.

I'm thinking simple cables or perhaps a nice lace. Leave me your suggestions, please!

Also, OKC knitters, I'll be int own on the 3rd and 4th next month for the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Superconference, so if anyone would like to take me yarn shopping one of those evenings, email me!

The color of that yarn screams "lace" to me. Maybe Unst from Knitting on the Road?

jeeze, there are so many patterns out there that would do your beautiful 'strawberry' cake justice.
Good luck and can't wait to see what you decide on!

I was actually looking at Unst last night and thinking it might work. That's funny.

Ooh I like your wallpaper! Thanks for leaving me a comment... nice to know someone is reading my reports!
That is lovely sock yarn and I think maybe Hedera or Baudelaire from knitty would look good. Let us know what you decide

Sadly, I'm a fan of the "plain" sock and I just don't think that would do the yarn justice. I noticed that someone else mentioned Beaudelaire..that's a pretty one!

I just took a look at Unst and it looks perfect for that gorgeous yarn!

Baudelaire would be really pretty, and combines cables and lace. Another cable-y option would be Eunny Jang's Bayerische Sock:

I love those pretty little cables. May have to learn to knit socks one of these days.

Dang it, I guess that URL won't work. If you go to http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/, the pattern is just a couple entries down the page. Whoops!
