Not much new knitting progress to report. Paul's had lots of family in, so we've been busy nearly every night for the last week.
I have mainly been swatching for Sarcelle.

I'm considering making a modification to the pattern. Here's a hint:
I've also been experimenting with ways to cover up the part of my baby blaket I didn't show off.
Other than that, I've been knitting miters, and adding projects and stash to Ravelry. Sorry I'm so boring!

Oh, beads will be cool with that pattern.
Oh so very pretty!! and yes with the beads...definitely!
If that pattern is missing anything it would be beads, and no one can do beads like you. I can't wait to see what you decide to do.
I want to knit that pattern as well but will have to wait til I get home to start that... :) I can't wait to see how it turns out. :D
I'm going to send pictures soon of what we have been up too... did a bit of dyeing! :)
Um, Emma? Your swatch looks like a g-string. Seriously.
Ooh, it does look a wee bit scandalous, doesn't it? I can assure you the swatch witll not be used for that purpose!
Hah! I'm glad someone else mentioned the g-string! I thought maybe it was just me. Neat pattern, though, very pretty. And very cool baby blanket, btw.
Beads would definitely be very pretty on that shawl. Good luck with those ends.
I understand the boring blog trap that is Ravelry. Don't worry-- you'll be back at normal knitting eventually :)
The baby blanket is so cute! You could put a pretty silky-soft fabric backing on it to cover the yarn ends and give it extra warmth.
And yes, beads!
